The Midnight Rider
The Midnight Rider is in the Guinness Book of Records for being the biggest, heaviest limousine in the world; The Midnight Rider first launched in the 1980s and it is still going strong today.
It measures 70 feet long, it has 22 wheels and weighs more than 22 tons. It is owned by Pamela Bartholomew Machado, who lives in California. Anybody who can afford to get on board the Midnight Rider will have 460 square foot of luxury surroundings to indulge themselves in. There is space for 40 individuals, so if everyone contributes towards the cost then you might be able to afford a night in the ultimate in luxury yourself.
The vehicle, which has been billed as a travelling nightclub, boasts three different lounge areas and has an incredible 1800 W speaker system installed. Occupants will also find a bar and nightclub, and a team of bartenders to meet their every need. It is estimated to be worth $2.5 million, and comes with a rather hefty hourly rental fee.
Mercedes-Benz are set to launch one of the world’s most expensive limos in 2015. According to The Richest, the S-600 will serve as a replacement for the Maybach 62 and it will measure 21 feet. The vehicle will come with a special armour plating should it come under attack, and it will cost a mere $1 million.
